Saw these just after the final climb to VOF, Uttarakhand in Aug 2018.
Requested  to please validate if they are Polygonum vacciniifolium.

I guess this is correct ID.

a persicaria. forms ground cover in these clumps you showed,

… unlike the other persicaria, a knotweed you had earlier, this one is more disciplined, not so invasive, nobody seems to have called it a noxious weed, rather loved by people who like rock gardens.
