Date/Time: 09-08-2012 / 12:15PM
Habitat: Wild

Could this plant be “Aconogonum rumicifolium“. I took the hint about the ID from one of the post from …
The description as given in the book “Flowers of Himalaya (Oleg Polunin & Adam Stainton)” tallies well with this plant. Kindly have a re look at the pics for ID…

Yes …, I was about to suggest that but got fooled with larger looking flowers, perhaps a macro affect.

Polygonum sp. from Paddar valley J&K. 02:
Request for identification

Can this plant be Polygonum tortuosum
Family: Polygonaceae
Location: Paddar valley J&K.
Date: 2nd August 2011
Altitude: 3000 meters asl

I think not
To me it appears younger inflorescence of Persicaria wallichii
Perhaps … can give better conclusion.

As per your comment on another thread (O3) the link by you does give some resemblance to your plant
but if we look at following illustration for Aconogonon tortuosum var. tibetanum
and following of Polygonum tataricum (considered as synonym of Aconogonon var. tortuosum in eFl of Pakistan)
your plant looks much different.
Perhaps … can throw light on all three uploads by you (01, 02, 03).

It look me Aconogonum rumucifolium

Yes, I think … is right. This looks like Aconogonon rumicifolium (Royle ex Bab.) H. Hara to me too.
