Help me to identify this flowering plant (upto species level, if possible).

It is common in West Bengal, can be noticed through out the year, grows in marshy areas. Sometime confused with water hyacinth. But I think it is not typical water hyacinth.

I THINK IT IS Monochoria hastaefolia Presl (FAMILY- PONTEDERIACEAE).

monochoria is also called ovel leaf pondweed check it at http://www.flowersofindia.net/cgi-bin/search.pl

This is called Arrowleaf Pondweed (Monochoria hastata to the botanist).
