Yes this is B.gymnorhiza. The red large flowers are characteristic.

bruguiera gymnorrhiza: Bruguiera gymnorrhiza of the Rhizophoraceae family- a few weeks ago, at the edge of the sea- havelock island, andamans is called Kankda in Bengal. Nice photographs… this mangrove plant is very common in Sundarban region of W.B. I had also seen a few of this plant in Taki, Basirhat, WB and is locally known as “Kankra“. There is a mix up here.
