Leaves 15-22 x 6-8 cm, elliptic-oblong, acute at apex, attenuate at base, lateral nerves 18-20 pairs; leaves at base of peduncle small, orbicular-ovate, sessile, cordate at base. Stipules 0.5-0.7 cm long, ovate lanceolate, laterally joined half way, densely hairy within. Corymbs long peduncled; peduncles 10-15 cm long, branches and pedicels articulated at ramifications. Bracts and bracteoles 0.1-0.25 cm long, triangular ovate. Flowers sessile and pedicelled. Calyx tube 0.15-0.2 cm long, lobes 0.05 cm long, triangular. Corolla tube 1.25-1.5 cm long, lobes 0.4-0.5 x 0.15 cm, few silky hairy on lobes within. Style slender, 1.25-1.5 cm long; stigma 2-lobed. Berry didymous, 0.8-1.2 cm diam. Seeds 2.
