Yes … Very sharp observation. I could also see the tiny pink flower/fruit in the second and third images. Couldn’t think of an id.

Thanks … for the ID. I had missed the pink fruit.
Are the fruits of any use. Is it that someone may have removed the fruits for a purpose or they may have naturally fallen off?

Nice compilation of local names of Meswak tree

Nepali Name:  पिलु  Pilu

Thank you very much … I did not take any effort to check whether cultivated in Nepal.
I will soon add this name to my notes.
By any chance, if Salvadora oleoides is cultivated OR planted in garden, let me know its Nepali name.

Did not find any cultivated plant of Salvadora oleoides but only in the wild as far as I know. Its Nepali name is सानो दाँते ओखर Saano Daante Okhar

Thank you very much … for help with names of both species of Salvadora.
It is interesting to note that Salvadora oleoides is found in wild in Nepal, which I thought was found only in hot arid regions.

Thank you, … You have done a great job by compiling names from other languages.
I wish you to add local names on every species pages. This will be of great help to the people interested in useful plants.

Thanks very much … for the appreciation. I do revise every species page to include the names that I compile. It is done regularly without fail (even in case of minor / major revisions).

Update:
Nepali: पिलु pilu

I’ll be happy to contribute Himachali names to your collection, Sir

Oh thanks very very much … That will indeed be great help.
