looking for seeds and plant of cestrum diurnum : 2 posts by 2 authors.
Sir, great to see thi group. I’m looking for seeds and plant of cestrum diurnum (din ka raja) but did not got it in nurseries nearby.  Can you help me procuring seeds of this plant and couple of plants.  I’ll be greatly obliged. Please also let me know if any other member of the group can help me regarding this. I’m putting up in Rohini area of Delhi.

During March-April I saw some plants wildly growing on the bank of the Hooghly river in front of the main gate of Serampore College (Hooghly District). The plants also had seeds on them. But I didn’t collect any. Sorry for unable to help on this.

The height of the plant is about 1.5 metres.
Minute white flowers with a fragrant scent, about 3-4 mm diameter, tube about 10-12 mm long.

Thank you Sir. Is this considered a native species? The Wikipedia page on the species as well as the list of alien species in India according to A. Khuroo et al (Alien flora of India: taxonomic composition, invasion status and biogeographic affiliations) says that it is a native of the Caribbean while the flowersofindia.net page labels it a native of India.
