Can not say much on perusal of the following (leaf and stem shape look close): Can not open Flora of China for keys, if it suit us. Also look at images and details at Elatostema sessile J.R.Forst. & G.Forst. We have to look for experts (do we have any ?) and keys. In sessile leaf margin is serrated and structure of leaf joint with the stem looks different. If you make links like It will be much better and more relevant. I have to learn how to make it ! Don) Weddell: E. integrifolium (D. Don) Weddell; E. sesquifolium (Blume) Hasskarl – Probably only a variety of E. /ineolatum, most closely allied to var. integrifolium from which it differs in its quite entire leaves and in often having 2- 4 smaller flower heads at each node. Bhutan: S- Deothang district 0 (Narfong); Sikkim: Darjeeling. Warm broadleaved forests, 1500 m. March. Flora of China mentions two varieties, based on hairiness of the stem. From these images it appears to be glabrous (?). Pl. post original images to confirm. Correct.

Near a stream formed by a waterfall sir. interesting. why is a waterfall association necessary for this plant to thrive? moisture droplets? or something else? would like/love to know Rock faces near waterfall is the habitat and post monsoon time is the season to see this plant. I can not guess the reason for this association. I am sure people who study the root development and micro-nutrient requirements will know further… This is E. integrifolium.
