Photographed dis(this) herb at a temple garden at Betul, MP. Glandularia pulchella (Verbenaceae) tends to grow low giving it the common name of Moss Verbena. It z(is) known to b(be) a gr8(great) ground cover plant. Also it attracts a lot of honeybees and butterflies.

It is an ornamental plant grown extensively in Southern India especially in Bangalore, Mysore and Chennai.  The plant comes in different hues.

Thanks …, You are right. The attached close up of the flowers shows stamens not protruding out, an additional confirmation of Verbena aristigera (Syn: Verbena tenuisecta), as compared to Verbena tenera.
