Rare in evergreen forests at higher elevations.
Presently these are the only photographs available with me. May be in my next visit in this region, i will try to get the photographs of seed pods and seeds. I think Feb- March will be the fruiting season for this plant.

Found this flowers on the forest floor in Matheran on 23rd Jan,13………try to locate the source but due to huge height of trees, could not get to know whether it is from the tree or a climber but certainly not of any herbs or shrubs.

గబ్బుసీకాయ- you are perfectly correct; but గబ్బు (gabbu) means- bad smelling
it is not related to sikaya, but the plant resemble A.concinna except in flower with bad smell it is named so

I think two names are combined here, as per FRLHT database. The possible Tamil script would be: இண்டு (indu), மாட்டிச்சீங்கை (matticcingai). The name ‘Indu’ is also generally applied to Acacia caesia (or any climbing Acacias!).
