Please help to identify this plant.

Could this be any species of Glochidion ?
Glochidion most probably Glochidion zeylanicum. Check it with any flora preferably Gamble with flower.
It is Glochidion sp. It is very confusing genus for species identity. You have to collect both male and female flowers of same plant and study. if it is near the streams or river then it can be G.zeylanicum.
Thank you .. and … I admit what … said.
… , I think these leaves and fruits belong to Aporosa cardiosperma (Gaertn.) Merr. Petioles bulgeing at both ends as you have mentioned, fruits globose pointed with the style, leaves glabrous acuminate all indicative of Aporosa species. You may check the details with the pictures of Aporosa I have uploaded a while back, and also compare with G. zeylanicum I have uploaded yesterday.
May be Glochidion zeylanicum
The glabrous leaves, slightly supra-axillary inflorescences and scarcely lobed capsules are sufficient to identify it as Glochidion zeylanicum (Gaertn.) A.Juss. var. zeylanicum.

A Glochidion from Karnataka. Looks interesting.
It’s always better to post more pictures if you have.
Got it now. It is Glochidion zeylanicum (Gaertn.) A.Juss. var. zeylanicum of the family Phyllanthaceae, Euphorbiaceae sensu lato.

… on other thoughts, would it be some species of Glochidion ?
Looks like Glochidion zeylanicum ?
from pic. fls having short petiole & greenish yellow colour,
Foto number 5 doesnt look like Glochidion… so if all the foto are from same plant than definitely its should not be Glochidion sp. may be some of Casearia sp..
I happened to see this post while searching for Casearia.
This appears close to images and details at Glochidion zeylanicum (Gaertn.) A.Juss.
This is not Glochidion zeylanicum, nor any other species of the genus. Possibly some other family.
May I request you to pl. post high res. images, so that we can look for an id again.
Photos were taken in low light, thus grainy. Yet, I hope this helps …
7 images-4 high res.
To me it appears to be close to images at Aporosa cardiosperma (Gaertn.) Merr.
These appear to be female flowers.
Please let us wait for comments; I was not able to find any images on Aporosa cardiosperma (Gaertn.) Merr. page showing female flowers. I was neither able to find any in Google image search.
just a wild guess, any chance of any Diospyros spp. ?
Try to match with the young fruits which we see in some of your images.
But I could not get to see female flowers anywhere to check.
I think this is Glochidion zeylanicum
… Sir – why do you say this is not Glochidion?
We can clearly see the male and female flowers in the axils of the leaves.
I am attaching closeup photos of male and female flowers of Glochidion zeylanicum which match well with … photos
2 high res. images.
But to me what you see as female flowers look like young fruit. Pl. note the style in it.
Yes …, that is exactly what female flowers look like in this group, they are just ovary with stigma on top surrounded by perianth.
You can see all stages of development from bud to flower to very young fruit in my photo.
Thanks, …, for the clarification.
I have now seen … photos at Flickr. Okay, Glochidion.
Thanks … for confirming my very first suggestion long back: Glochidion zeylanicum
