Small shrub with robust branches; leaves opposite, elliptic-oblong, elliptic-lanceolate to obovate, 12-30 cm long, cute or acuminate, narrowed at base into short petiole; stipules long, cuspidate; flowers white in 7-12 cm wide corymbose cymes; calyx lobes twice as long as ovary; corolla tube 20-25 mm long, lobes 6-8 mm long.

Ixora polyantha Wight of Rubiaceae family from our farm. A small shrub prefer to grow under shade.

The flower pictures are shot in the night just half an hour before as the flower opens in the night by around 8 O’clock.

Very fragrant in the night.
I should check the same day time tomorrow.
