Seen this small herb near the lake at Nagpur. Could be Murdannia dimorpha It could be Murdannia nudiflora.
Nice captions In neither M. dimorpha or nudiflora is the fruit described as apiculate, as seen here. This is Murdannia nudiflora for sure!!!

It appears to be Murdannia dimorpha, normally found at graslands during end of monsoon.
