Could this be Ranunculus laetus ?? pl. validate the ID..
Family: Ranunculaceae
Date/Time: 28-09-2014 / 10:30AM

Not R. laetus. Some other species of Ranunculus.

I think it’s Ranunculus hirtellus

The plant resembles R. bulbosus

Ranunculus bulbosus is not found in India as per Ranunculus

I also think it to be R. hirtellus

I think that you are right about this

To me appears more closer to images at Ranunculus hirtellus rather than those at Ranunculus diffusus

In absence of lower leaves the closest match for me is Ranunculus distans (syn: R. laetus).

Smaller flower size, hairy achenes, I think R. hirtellus

id request Ranunculus diffusus?: 2 high res. images.
Please have a look at the attached images of Ranunculus, it seems R. diffusus for me.

Captured – Tungnath Uttarakhand.
alt 3300m amsl.

April 2021

No diffusus. Please add images of habitat, leaf, fruit if any and other aspects of the sp.

Sorry sir, have only these two images.

To me appears close to images at Ranunculus hirtellus Royle as per comparative images at Ranunculus.

Habit image may have settled the issue.
