Is it not Spermacoce ocymoides, …?

Thanks, … I think it’s not Spermacoce ocymoides.
See the earlier Indiantreepix link on Spermacoce ocymoides:
efi thread 1

I am sure you would have confirmed before adding to wikipedia. However I think it needs more critical study. Pl. check this link
Any comments from members, pl.?”

Thanks, … for the feedback.
I have to go through all the threads again on Indiantreepix & related materials for Spermacoce ocymoides & Spermacoce pusilla.

Now I feel that species in the following Indiantreepix threads has to be Spermacoce pusilla & not Spermacoce ocymoides:
efi thread 1
efi thread 2
efi thread 3

I will make corrections in these threads/ Wikipedia once it’s validated by experts/ those who have posted it earlier. Posters of Spermacoce ocymoides may also make necessary corrections in their earlier records.
FOI link for Spermacoce pusilla is below:
Thanks a lot … for raising the doubts.
But my original posted species is not Spermacoce ocymoides, for which FOI link is given below: FOI

…, this plant may not be Pouzolzia … the main veins of Pouzolzia leaves are clearly indented … even a long shot should be able to show them … BUT this is what I visualize; I may be wrong.

This is Spermacoce decandollei Deb & R.M. Dutta ( Jorunal of Economic and Taxonomic Botany 5(5): 1044. 1984) Syn: Borreria repens DC.

Thanks, … But I could hardly find any details/ picture on net. Any reason?

Spermacoce decandollei is a synonym of Spermacoce prostrata, according to Kew Checklist
This plant doesn’t seem to agree with the pictures of Spermacoce prostrata here
Nature loves you
Leaves are described as elliptic to narrowly elliptic or elliptic-lanceolate.
HEAR
The leaves in the picture should be described as elliptic to ovate-elliptic. It is possible that the leaves are very variable. If so, I would like to know.

Thanks, … for the feedback.
Spermacoce is now certainly getting interesting!!!
On further scrutiny, my posted pictures seems to match with Spermacoce ocymoides (as initially pointed out by …) as at FOI as below:
FOI
Pl. have a look & confirm.

Please give the ID of this herb which seems to be a Rubiaceae member. Location: Kozhikode

It is Spermococe pusilla to be verified?

It should be Spermacoce exilis as per comparative images at Spermacoce and as per keys at Flora of China

Yes, it’s S. exilis only.

ID requested: Rubiaceae (Nilgiris, TN):

Herb; ~20 cm height.
Dry deciduous forests

Spermacoce species ?

Yes, it looks like Spermacoce/ Mitracarpus/ Hedyotis (I am not a taxonomist). I have a bunch of such Rubs, all looking similar in the field. I am trying to get to the species.
Trying to find a Rubiaceae specialist.

Spermacoce exilis (L.O.Williams) C.D.Adams ex W.C.Burger & C.M.Taylor ??
