Androsace lanuginosa

Needs rechecking, as A. lanuginosa is characterised by short soft hairs nearly appressed, and leafy stolons. Here leaves have long spreading hairs and I don’t see leafy stolons. A. foliosa could be considered, or even A. robusta.

Habit: low growing herb, flower 6 – 8 mm across (not sure).

Yes may be Androsace studiosarum (Syn A Sarmentosa)

.. this is just so fantastik that I was tempted to think that you did manual exposure and focusing etc…
but in some other thread you mentioned that there was always rush to take pictures etc…
so now… pl tell me what lenses did you carry with you that high up above sea level and in lower oxygen to
breathe than at sea level and did you manage the time required to do manual adjustments and use flash?

… true – always in rush to take pictures. My lenses are wide lens (14 – 45 mm), macro (45 mm), tele (45 – 200 mm).
I do not use flash.
