A climber of Cucurbitaceae family. Observed growing wild in Mulshi area Western ghats. Both the names indicate some characters found in it. The amplexicaul nature of the leaves which also show heterophylly i.e different types of leaf shapes. We had discussion on this recently through … post. Some description…. Flowers tiny may be less than a cm. Axillary often in pira or cluster of 3-4 flowers. Leaves 5-6 cm. Oval but of variable shapes. Tendrils present. Simply superb pictures! Really amplexicaulius leaves and the variation of leaves is also depicted!
