Dimorphotheca aurantiaca hort.[3]) is an ornamental plant native to southern Africa. It grows in rainfall areas of south west regions of Africa but it can also be found in desert, sandy regions of Namibia. It flowers early in spring and produces radiant orange-yellow petals.

Looks similar to D. sinuata but has broader disc. I had earlier placed it under D. aurantiaca, but that is now Castalis tragus, characterised by narrower brown disc, and not yellow and broader as in this case.. Dimorphotheca sinuata DC. ??
