Checked on internet. Posted plant matches well. Though looks relatively with lesser number of flower clusters, with lesser number of flowers per cluster. I think it is because of the environment provided to the posted plant in the garden. It seems to be starving of ideal environment. Plant for ID :: Karjat, MH :: ARKFEB-15 : 7 posts by 3 authors. Saw this potted plant in a nursery in Karjat in Nov 2014. Is this some Clerodendrum? Does not appear to be a Clerodendrum to me. Clerodendrum would bear 5-lobed flowers with long-exserted stamens. The 4-lobed flowers in … photographs are suggestive of a Pavetta sp. [Rubiaceae]. Pl. see comparative images at Pavetta This is an ornamental species of Pavetta. Appears to be Pavetta capensis (Houtt.) Bremek., as per images and details herein.
