Dattaji Salvi Udyan  Thane
Date: May 1, 2018 … Altitude: about 11 m (36 feet) asl
Pavetta capensis  (Houtt.) Bremek.

We do not have any observation on this species in efi so far as at Pavetta

Though appear close as per
http://pza.sanbi.org/pavetta
Or is it some other species ?

Checked on internet. Posted plant matches well. Though looks relatively with lesser number of flower clusters, with lesser number of flowers per cluster. I think it is because of the environment provided to the posted plant in the garden. It seems to be starving of ideal environment.
At The Plant Illustrations, leaves and blooms of posted plant match well.
I think it must be Pavetta capensis.

Plant for ID :: Karjat, MH :: ARKFEB-15 : 7 posts by 3 authors. Attachments (3)
Saw this potted plant in a nursery in Karjat in Nov 2014.
Is this some Clerodendrum?

Does not appear to be a Clerodendrum to me.

Clerodendrum would bear 5-lobed flowers with long-exserted stamens. The 4-lobed flowers in … photographs are suggestive of a Pavetta sp. [Rubiaceae].

Pl. see comparative images at Pavetta

This is an ornamental species of Pavetta.

Appears to be Pavetta capensis (Houtt.) Bremek., as per images and details herein.
