(Separating two different plants at SK 3686 05 February 2023 – Araliaceae) On further checking, I find that these appear similar to other 7 images at SK 3686 05 February 2023 – Araliaceae Due to the thick leathery leaf, I would go for Trevesia rather than Brassaiopsis to be honest. The only species reported in Checklist of Nepal is Trevesia palmata (Roxb. ex Lindl.) Vis., from which it looks quite different. Maybe Trevesia palmata (Roxb. ex Lindl.) But there is no record below 800m. 1st 5 images appear to be of some different species. Images 1-5 from one plant and the remaining from another at a distance of 40/50ft. Plant one and plant two are different as the leaves look different. Any idea about the sp. ID for Images 1-5 and 6-last ? 1st 5 images appear to be of some different species. There are three more sp. recorded in Nepal, viz. B. aculeata 1300-2000m, B. glomerulata 300-1500m. and B. mitis 1600-2100m. I think I have checked those also. You can also verify. Due to the thick leathery leaf, I would go for Trevesia rather than Brassaiopsis to be honest. The only species reported in Checklist of Nepal is Trevesia palmata (Roxb. ex Lindl.) Vis., from which it looks quite different. Only one sp. Trevesia palmata (Roxb. ex Lindl.) Vis. has got distribution in Nepal with the matching elevation, and I guess this is the correct ID !
