Aphids on Pergularia:
Aphids feeding on glandular hairs on Pergularia. An ant is also seen and may have been ‘farming’ the aphids for the juice from the glands.

Beautiful flower. I have seen these insects on my rose and it is very difficult to remove.

Interesting observation. I have seen a yellow coloured spider on this.

Amazing picture …, These aphids have a very wide host range.

Lady bug beetles are the natural enemies of these aphids

Thanks … for sharing this beautiful photograph.
I too had seen some Aphids on a stem of a climber at Nagpur. Lady bug beetle as stated by … was also spotted on the same stem approaching these Aphids. Sharing few photographs of the same.

Climber for ID, Ajmer, Rajasthan NAW-APR19-02 : 6 posts by 4 authors. Attachments (3)
Kindly identify this climber with heart shaped leaves about 5-6 cm long with characteristic fruits, photographed in Ajmer district, Rajasthan in April 2019.
The leaves in the third picture are of Leucaena, subabool.

this is perhaps a Sechium sp. the fruit is just young. wait till they get larger. the prickly surface will change, i think.
info i would love: is this the most mature fruit or if not, can someone or yourself take more pictures next month and the month after?

Pergularia daemia (Forssk.) Chiov. [Apocynaceae].

Exactly …

thanks … i knew with such a unique surface it had to be something unique that i had seen someplace. searching my old memory i ran into this picture by our own
