Plant location: Paddar valley district Kishtwar J&K.
Altitude: 2200 meters asl

Plant habit/habitat: Wild herb
Plant height: 30-50 cms

for me it is Galinsuga parviflora, a member of asteraceae family.

Seen a similar one in Nashik Maharashtra just a month back
it seems to be a member of family asteraceae
with the very limited knowledge i have it seems to be either
1. Tridex parviflora
2. Bidens pilosa
would like to confirm

Yes Galinsoga parviflora, but … why do you write shrub in subject line when you know (in your information) that it is a herb.

Yes I agree with … In the habitat you have mentioned it as wild herb but in the subject line you call it as a shrub. If one is not sure one can say as a plant for ID. Probably you may not have noticed this small error. Anyway thanks for showing this plant from your region…

Jawa Asteraceae 2: We need your help to ID our Compositae please.

i hope Galinsoga parviflora

Is it Tridax?

Not Tridax …, in which leaves are thicker, smaller, alternate and much hairy; heads are larger, on long erect peduncles and ray florets larger.

Galinsoga parviflora from me too…
