Kaas week : Murdannia lanuginosa: Wow, nice one again. I think locally it is reffered as “Abolima“. The name comes from the colour which resembles colour of Crossandra and which is known as ‘Aboli’. The sc. name could have been abolimoides. To add to this, Shrikant ji has not mentioned this. But the now extremely popular name ‘Abolima‘ for this plant has been coined by Shrikant ji in his book Flowers of Sahyadri.
