Pl. check other species as per comparative images at
May keep it as Desmodium elegans DC. for the time being although I am not fully satisfied.
Other species does not come closer as per comparative images at Desmodium‎

However, EFN says ” Legume flat, linear, 3-5 × 0.4-0.5 cm, hairy, lower su­ture crenate, upper suture nearly straight, 4-6-jointed. 2n = 22.“
whereas in this case it is around 14-15.
You may be right. We have to look for the correct ID.

Desmodium incanum
Desmodium incanum is not listed in Nepal and seed pod, leaves and flowering  does not match.
I guess leaf pattern, seed pods and flowering are matching.

Yes. Fruits look much different.
Closest I can go as per comparative images at Desmodium ‎is Desmodium sequax Wall.

wow. what a prolific seed make r. I cant find any papers Easily on google to see its use in the se Asian countries etc

Edible Uses- None known. Medicinal- The chewed leaf is spat onto wounds, apparently for its antiseptic properties. The root is included in mixtures used to alleviate toothache In China, it is considered a diaphoretic. Other Uses- None known

These were recorded from Gori Valley area.. I think this can be a Desmodium sp., your views please..

Given the quality and quantity of pics, I should not expect/insist on getting them identified.
They do not look like Desmodium laxiflorum to me.

I think Desmodium sequax Wall., as per images and details herein.

The id suggestion is not fully convincing, and it is largely due to insufficient images available with me…
