Please help me to identify the specimen attached.
Place: Vellore, Tamilnadu Date: 08.02.15 Subherb trailing on the ground. Sepals equal to petals. Leaves pubescent. I infer that it could be Rhynchosia rufescens. I also doubt it as Rhynchosia rufescens
It seems to be Atylosia scarbioides efi page on Cajanus scarabaeoides (syn: Atylosia scarabaeoides (L.) Benth.) It is not Cajanus scarabaeoides (Atylosia scarabaeoides) Thank you All I fully agree with the observation and do not want to argue also.
Anyhow, Pl. verify the attached link. the flower exactly matches with my specimen.
I am attaching some more specimens of Rhynchosia rufescens to facilitate identification of the specimen submitted earlier. The specimens themselves explains the characters of the plant. The fruit is ONE seeded and the seed collour is shiny light black.
