Native to: Madagascar, tropical Asia, n Australia; naturalized in tropical Africa . A slender twiner, sometimes with woody basal portion, stem densely grey-pubescent. Leavestrifoliate, 3-5 cm long, subcoriaceous. Leaflets oblong or elliptic-obovate, obtuse or subacute, apex mucronate, base rounded, grey-pubescent above, densely downy and gland-dotted beneath, 3-nerved at the base, lateral leaflets oblique.Flowers 2-6, on short, densely pubescent, axillary peduncle. Sepalsdensely silky. Petalsyellow, 0.7-1.4 cm long, with orange streaks. Pod 2.0-2.5 cm, straight, 4-6-seeded, densely clothed with silky brownish hairs. .

Slender trailing annual herb; leaves pinnately trfoliate, leaflets obovate to rhomboidal up to 5 cm long, pubescent on both surfaces; flowers yellow in raceme; calyx up to 15 mm long, teeth 3-4 times as long as tube, setaceous, lowest longest; pod globose, up to 15 mm in diam, 2-seeded.
