This small herb was spotted in Baba Budan giri region of Chikmagalur (Karnataka) en-route Village Mahal. Hypericum japonicum Thunb. of Hypericaceae. Thanks a lot … It tallies with H. japonicum. It is really an interesting plant.

Just a faint guess if it could be closer to Hypericum anagalloides ?? Pictures shot on 30 July 2016 in the Telkot Nagarkot Nepal at 6000 ft. Is it cultivated as it is not a native as per the following links ?: I found it in a wild environment but I am not sure about its nomenclature. It is just my guess that it could be Hypericum anagalloides. Adding some more pictures shot at Kakani on 28 July 2016 at 6000 ft but not so good quality due to rain.
