Rocky areas in evergreen forests
Peninsular India
(Attributions- Dr. N Sasidharan (Dr. B P Pal Fellow), Kerala Forest Research Institute, Peechi from India Biodiversity Portal)
found this plant growing in a very rocky place…just wherever theres a little gravel and leaves lodged inbetween boulders…
leaves were very velvety and that makes it appear a very light blue-green.
leaves were aromatic
Could it be an Anisochilus species?
Anisochilus species in eFloraofindia (with details/ keys from published papers/ regional floras/ FRLHT/ FOI/ Biotik/ efloras/ books etc., where ever available on net)
Can it be Anisochilus dysophylloides Benth. as per the following ?:

Just a suggestion- how about Anisochilus harmandii: http://chm-thai.onep.go.th/RedData/plants/detail.aspx?plants_CurrentPage=18 Where was it clicked ?
I doubt if Anisochilus harmandii is found in India on searching on net though a few specimen are given below as per which it appears a possibility:

It was a nice trail of discussion. It is beyond doubt that the plant in question belongs to genus Anisochilus but we need to sure of the species. ..or A carnosus ? No, it is not A carnosus This is Anisochilus dysophylloides Benth. = Coleus dysophylloides (Benth.) A.J.Paton as per reply in another thread: ID Request- 04022014-PKA5 and as per references at Anisochilus dysophylloides References:
