Date/Time-:12/05/2015 – 10:30, I think there are two species mixed up here. The third photo is different from the first two and the fourth.
Both belong to Macrosolen sp. I think. Agree with … Third one is Dendropthe falcata. Others are different. Sorry for posting two species by mistake, as said by … it is Macrosolen parasiticus Yes …, as you said third one is Dendropthe falcata and rest all three is Macrosolen parasiticus. I think these three images do not match with images at Elytranthe parasitica (L.) Danser (= Macrosolen parasiticus (L.) Danser) Looks different from images of Macrosolen parasiticus at

The flowers were around 1 cm in length. Saw this on mango trees near Devgad, MH in May 2017. I think it looks different This appears to be Macrosolen capitellatus (Wight & Arn.) Danser [Loranthaceae]. Elytranthe parasitica (L.) Danser SN Dec 29 : 1 post by 1 author. Attachments (1)
Elytranthe parasitica (L.) Danser (= Macrosolen parasiticus (L.) Danser),
wild parasite on Ficus sp. from Siddapur area of Karwar Dt, Karnataka I think more closer to the images at Elytranthe capitellata (Wight & Arn.) Engl. in Engl. & Prantl rather than those at Elytranthe parasitica (L.) Danser Macrosolen parasiticus (L.) Danser SN 15Mar 03 : 1 post by 1 author. Attachments (2)
Macrosolen parasiticus (L.) Danser, parasitic shrub from Attibele area of Bangalore, Karnataka I think more closer to the images at Elytranthe capitellata (Wight & Arn.) Engl. in Engl. & Prantl rather than those at Elytranthe parasitica (L.) Danser Yes, You are correct ID please?
Dendrophthoe spp. Local marathi name: Bindukali Location : Sagargad,Alibag Date/Time: 11 May 2010 9.00am Habit: Parasitic shrub Habitat: Moist deciduous forest Leaves : opposite Flowers:Corolla lobes 5, Stamens 5 Dendropthoe falcata syn. Loranthus falcatus to me. It seems to be Dendropthoe falcata to me too !! This is Macrosolen capitellatus. Flowers would be just 2 cm long and axillary. Dendrophthoe flowers would be 4-6 cm long and in long unilateral racemes. it is Macrosolen capitellatus (Wt & Arn.) Danser kindly refer subject: ‘Plant for id 301209MK2’ for D. falcata species picture. The specific epithet itself suggests the shape of leaves. I also think it should be E. parasitica as per keys & illustration at: Macrosolen capitellatus. I Think this is a Macrosolen capitellatus. the bracts are tubular and connate. the corolla tube is less than 2 cm long.
in Elytranthe the corolla tube is longer. Requesting to please ID this Loranthaceae member, if possible. This was growing on a mango tree somewhere near Ratnagiri, Coastal Kokan, MH in May 2017.
Apologies for the bad picture quality.
