..Me too was much tempted too see them.. and was hungry too…
But most interestingly., I could not see any visitor to have the dish.. I mean, neither the birds, nor the bats seem to be eating it.. So myself and my team decided not to eat it…
But to error is human.. and I had a taste of 3-4 fruits… !
… And nothing happened… But they proved themselves as The ‘Best’ Laxatives..:)
But I still wonder .. why the fruits wetre consumed by the Birds….

Thank you very much … for the pictures of type specimen. Yes they are S. zeylanicum. I feel a slight variation of leaf size here. I would like to know the altitude at which the plant that you have seen. Here we see the same species with leaves little bit larger.
