Please help me in identifying this climber of Jasminum sp. It is grown as ornamental.
The flowers are c.3 cm across.

There are two species came into my mind now, One is Jasminum polyanthum and other is J. officinalis. Please go through the literature of both. I am sorry Idont have any literature with me here. Looks like Jasminum polyanthum. Check this link too: http://www.terrain.net.nz/friends-of-te-henui-group/weeds/jasmine.html for confirmation. I had posted similar looking Jasmine from Kodaikanal earlier. Could be the same. (Jasmine for ID : 040711 : AK-1)
That id is still pending.

Is this the Common Jasmine or Chameli? I think closer to images at Jasminum polyanthum Franch.

1:is this definitely a vine ?
2: there are two colored leaves…. dark green whose venation cant be seen light green with trinervis structure.

to me the flowers look like one related to gardenia. mostly seen in australia: Atractocarpus fitzalanii, but their leaf detail is different

i am stumped right now. so please respond. we will take it from there again or may be you or someone who is expert in classification //id based on leaves can tell us

2. Leaf image is abaxial and adaxial.

The first image shows the formation of fruiting stage also but not fully developed. sorry i dont see it Does it flowers in cold season? Jasminum polyanthum Franch. ?? the leaves are trinervis or triplinervis etc etc but no jasmine photos show triplinervis leaves has them on the net.

Yes. Most likely. the buds are pink. your last pic has a couple of pink buds peaking out in the left side of the picture and this link has a picture that shows leaves might be with trinervis structure, but they do not show the abaxial surface.
Finally I am glad. It was driving me nuts.

sorry. i was so happy that we had an answer to my going nuts that i even sent out the draft that i had made for myself. sorry if someone does not like it. but I am elated three non-botanists and gardeners. … did it. goes to show. going nuts and modern internet resources help so much.
