I think appears more closer to images at Pedicularis pyramidata Royle ex Benth. rather than those at Pedicularis pectinata Wall. ex Benth.

Can’t be P. rhinanthoides as leaves are whorled.
Corolla tube slightly longer than calyx, beak coiled, basal portion of calyx swollen all point to P. pyramidata.

Habit: erect herb about 30 – 50 cm high, flower about 1.5 – 2 cm across

It seems to be Pedicularis gracilis var. gracilis

Valley of Flowers … about 11500 ft

Habitat: sloping meadow
Habit: small herb, about 20 – 30 cm high; flower about 1 – 1.5 cm across (not sure)

Can’t be any of the two as leaves are whorled. Closer to P. pectinata but flowers slightly darker, calyx tube inflated, basal portion of galea shorter, I would go with P. pyramidata.

Colour and texture of calyx in flowersofindia seem to differ from what is posted here. Please validate / reconsider the ID.

What about Pedicularis gracilis?? As per mentioned in Plants of Kedarnath Wildlife sanctuary: A field guide, it seems close to P. gracilis.

Looks different from images at Pedicularis gracilis Wall. ex Benth.

It appears close to images at Pedicularis pectinata Wall. ex Benth.

We also got this from same area. Working on it. Second option is better.
