Poppy flower from Pahalgam, Kashmir-MN131011: Sending a photo of Poppy flower.
Place : Pahalgam, Kashmir Date : June 2009 Habitat : Cultivated Papaver somniferum ? P. somniferum has glabrous, rather glacous pedicels and sepals. It could be P. rhoeas or P. nudicale. Perhaps leaves in focus should help in deciding. I think it should be Papaver rhoeas L. as per comparative images at Papaver References:
