Plumbago zeylanica L., well known wild medicinal herb, chitrakmul, roots are vasicant. Can be cultivated as a hedge plant and roots can be harvested after 2 years and supplied to drug manufacturers nice but aren’t the flowers supposed to be light blue? Blue colored one is Plumbago capensis, which is an ornamendal plant and not used in native medicine.
