Photographed from Okhimath near Chopta in Uttarakhand on June 1. Thanks Sir for showing nicely taken pictures… Yes, you got this during Chopta Tour and not from Chakrata.. Beautiful Photograph of Lysimachia prolifera Klatt Kindly check it again as the stamens of the flowers are longer than petals and the baranches of the plants have reported as loosestrife Thanks … for raising points. It had intrigued me also. If we consider Flora of Pakistan which says stamens included, but then contradicts it by saying that filaments are shorter or equalling corolla lobes. For me included means when stamens are not emerging from corolla tube. Another important point. The stamens appear exserted in side pose as lobes are spreading, but the total length of stamens does not seem to be exceeding corolla lobes. Interesting discussion. Tells us how important are pictures. Side view of flower; character of leaves everything matters…… . 07062013GS1 a Herb for ID fro Chopta forest : Attachments (2). 4 posts by 3 authors.
