I have seen it on Phulchoki mountain above Godawari, Kathmandu Valley. Anemone vitifolia May I ask if these Anemones were possibly escapes from cultivation? I have a reason for asking and will explain another time. The pinkish colour is unusual in wild Anemone vitifolia but all species vary. This photograph was clicked from cultivated plants and not from the wild. They are in cultivation at the Indian Institute of Advanced Studies, Shimla for the last so many years. Gardner told that they have introduced it from the wild.
