Photographed on my property at Shahapur last week. It looks like Celastrus paniculatus Thanks … Am familiar with Jyotismati [Celastrus paniculatus], some of my photographs of which are available at this link
This one looked different. However, will keep it in mind. It may be Gouania microcarpa of Rhamnaceae (please note the coiled tendrils). … is right!! Thanks … & … for a possible id. Have checked the photographs of Gouania microcarpa in the archives of this group. Have not encountered anything similar at Shahapur, but will keep a watch. Leaf shape wise as well as per distribution, appears more closer to Gouania leptostachya DC. rather than those at Gouania microcarpa DC.

Unlike FoC description of G. leptostachya DC. fruits in my species are not winged. Fruits really are quite different looking in Wight’s illustration.
My species rather looks like G. tiliaefolia (tiliifolia) of “Plants of the Coast of Coromandel“. Hints of three-valved capsule can be seen in the last fruit pic.
BSI description of spp can be accessed at efloraindia.nic.in.
Protologue of the taxon can be viewed at biodiversitylibrary. Thanks Sir, no more I am interested in knowing the name of this plant. It may be as I suggested may not be as well. Attachments (2) . Gouania leptostachya DC from Assam KD 06 Oct 24: 4 images.
