It looks like Leea indica [which flowers in April]. Leea asiatica flowers later from July to September. Please check. Yes, it is most probably Leea indica. I too think Leea indica!!! Among other things leaves of L. asiatica are pinnate, mostly 3-foliate whereas they are 2-3 pinnate in L. indica, clearly seen in your photograph Number Three.

I would like to know is it the usual habit of these Leea plants to grow lateral roots from organs other than main root system, as I have not noticed earlier?

Thanks a lot for Id, …, Though theplantlist says “Leea robusta Roxb. is a synonym of Leea macrophylla Roxb. ex Hornem.”, both of these are distinct, acc. to Fl. Kolhapur (p.122&123). I agree with this.
L. robusta has distict pinnate leaves, whereas L. macrophylla has simple, large leaves.
There is another, Leea robusta Blume which is a synonym of Leea indica (Burm. f.) Merr.
So, better to add the Authority after the name for proper identity. Thanks … for clarifying. Yes, Plantlist has created some confusion here… Leea robusta Roxb. is shown as a syn. of Leea macrophylla Roxb. ex Hornem. then it is not L.macrophylla. Leaves are not large I think it is closer to images at Leea indica (Burm. f.) Merr. as per keys & images herein.

This plant was seen aplenty on the way to Tamhini ghat near Pune, MH in Aug 2019.
The entire stretch to Tamhini was coloured by the beautiful copper coloured new leaves.

Sorry for late reply, today only I see your mail. Please see in my 1st post indicated as “Flower:……. flower-in-flower diameter: 2mm)……” is about 3rd image that you doubted. No one else in the world that I should saw this tiny flower, because L. indica flower clearly shot through macro lens, and I saw there was an another tiny flower after captured. I am doubtfully like you and will try to pluck it, but it is fixed. Another day when I watching L. indica, this kind of another flower falls on a leaf in front of me (it is the 3rd image).
