As per efi thread:
Thuja (Platycladus) has almost dorsiventral leaves, all leaflets in one plane. Cupressus and Juniperus have spreading leaflets along with flat leaflets, which are not in one dimension.. we can feel the pricking of needle like leaflets towards the base in Juniperus and not so in Cupressus….
