Can this plant be Chaerophyllum aromaticum Attaching the pics of the plant. The plant used by locals in folk medicine preparation. Yes Heracleum canescens Does not seem to match with either Heracleum canescens Lindl. or any other species of Heracleum available in efi so far.

I think it looks different as per GBIF specimens- one and two. I feel it may be close to Pimpinella diversifolia. I guess you are right Dr. Rai. I have noticed plenty of variation in leaf shape.

Looks matching ! I find number of flowers in one umbellules is less, i.e., 11-13 only compared to net images and drawing from FoC. I was having doubts about it, in view of recent id of your same species plant. I think this should be Pimpinella diversifolia as per discussions at Oenanthe javanica (Blume) DC.

Sending photos of a plant belonging to Apiceae family, highly aromatic, collected from Kedarnath region near Rambara 3200 m (Uttarakhand) on slopes amidst Balsams. Kindly help in identification of the same. The plant was collected in September, 2011 Looks more like an Araliaceae to me…..Any Aralia?? Not sure though! I think … is correct, I also think its not from Apiaceae may be … No … I have no pictures of roots May be some of the Panax or Acanthopanax. It could be Aralia apioides of Araliaceae family Looking at the size of the plant it looks like Apiaceae I think it appears close to Oenanthe javanica as per images and details herein.
