Neanotis lancifolia
Comparatively a smaller herb with linear lanceolate leaves.
Please validate.

To me this looks more like Neanotis foetida. I think N lancifolia has broader leaves and is a bigger plant.

exacum petiolare
my place, alibaug, past two weeks. (15.10.11)
there is a single plant in bloom
flowers are tiny, no bigger than 5 or 6 mm

I doubt about it being Exacum species.
Will you check for some Neanotis species?

Agree with … This looks like a species of Neanotis possibly N.lancifolia.

Yes, First of all this belong to the family Rubiaceae and as suggested by …  it could be Neanotis sp.

I think Neanotis subtilis
