Please help in identification of this compositae weed from Srinagar
Cirsium wallichii
Looks different from images at Cirsium wallichii DC.
Appears close to images at Carduus edelbergii Rech.f.
Again C. verutum, see my earlier comments.
Looks different from phyllaries and spines at the tip of phyllaries at Cirsium verutum
Stem also looks different.
I don’t think so
