Swamy/New series/ID/78 – ID requested: 2 images.
Please ID the plant photographs.
Received from a research student in Coorg.
Local name : Choori gida (Coorg language).

Maybe Zanthoxylum
Pl. check Zanthoxylum ovalifolium

Before  sending my posting I checked with the suggested ID. But it is not matching. Again I will try with other species of Xanthoxylum and let you know.

As mere leaves are there we may keep it as a Zanthoxylum species.

This appears close to images at Zanthoxylum tetraspermum Wight & Arn.
