Note: Typhonium uniseriatum Blatt. & McC. is
not listed in TPL 2013 as well as Tropicos; however, the publication details (J.
Bombay nat. Hist. Soc. 35: 25. 1931) clearly indicate that it is Theriophonum uniseriatum (synonym of Theriophonum dalzellii Schott) and
included in the list of Typhonium species by Karthikeyan et al. due to some
error.

TYPHONIUM KHANDWAENSE (ARACEAE: AREAE), A NEW SPECIES FROM MADHYA PRADESH, INDIA by S. Mujaffar, C.M. Yasin, S. Moinuddin and S. Mustakim- Bioscience Discovery, 4(1): 25-29, Jan. 2013-
ABSTRACT : Typhonium khandwaense Mujaffar, Yasin & Mustakim, a new species of Typhonium from Khandwa district in Madhya Pradesh, India is described and illustrated. The new species resembles Typhonium roxburghii, Typhonium trilobatum & Typhonium inopinatum in its ovate-reniform, hastate or triangular lamina and spathe-limb twisted at tip. But the new species differs from these in having subcylindric tubers, with male zone yellow, sterile flowers filiforms and decurved covering female zone partially.

Typhonium incurvatum Blatt. & McCann is a synonym of Typhonium flagelliforme (Lodd.) Blume — very rare, on the verge of extinction
