Very thin stem so difficult to photograph full plant with my compact camera. height of plants about 30-40 cm. pale to deep pink flower is possibly 1 mm or smaller – the green conical fruit seen in the first picture is about 3-4 mm in length. leaves about 2.5 – 3 cm length… Boerhavia erecta L. This is Boerhavia sps. (Boerhavia diffusa ?). There are many eco-typic species in this and therefore plenty of variations in the leaves. They grow very luxuriously in calcium rich soils. This is Boerhavia erecta Thank you … for the ID help.
I also got this identified as Boerhavia erecta on the Indian Flora facebook group. The ice cream cone shaped fruits were the identifying feature. It is Boerhavia erecta L. belongs to family Nyctaginaceae

I do not have any pictures of its fruits. I hope those familiar may comment looking at the leaves. I think this image needs to be removed with properly identified images
Please take a look at the attached cropped picture – the fruits seen in it belong to the same plant (same sighting). Perhaps it will help in ascertaining the species.

Earlier we had collected Boerhavia verticillata from Rajasthan but unfortunately the specimen was not B verticillata.

First I need to check up whether it is available now in my surroundings or in some fields, as it is a dry period and almost all the plants (weeds) have dried up. Secondly, how much material you need: with roots or without, fresh or dried etc..
