I have updated eFI page on Hypericum
Attempts have been made to incorporate most of the species available in India & nearby areas with details & keys directly or through links as far as possible. It’s quite possible that there may be some discrepancy in the accepted names & synonyms taken from other links.
Species discussed so far in efloraofindia are given at the bottom of the page in the form of links. On clicking them will show all the details.
Any comments are welcome
I have added list of Indian species of Hypericum as mentioned in Flora of India vol-3.
Names of species in other web resources as mentioned on the genus page indicate that H. scabrum is not mentioned in Flora of India, H. napaulense is synonym of H. elodeoides and H. patulum is neither in Flora of India nor in The Plant List 2013.
Thanks a lot, …, However, Hypericum patulum Thunb. is mentioned in the Plant List.
Pl. see attachment
If you find any incorrect identification, pl. let us know. If anybody can send images of other species of this genera (for incorporation in the website), if any, or can identify unidentified images, it will be really nice.
Thank you … for the systematic compilation.
