Habit: Tree large, about 15 to 20 mt tall
Bark: peeling, dark brown, younger parts white
Leaves: alternate, simple. trilobed but not conspicuous
size: more wide than long 15 cm x 20 cm
venation: 5 main veins, palmate.
petioles: 6 to 8 cm long. 1 gland at the base
leaf scar visible on stem.
Flowering in clusters and while the plant had leaves
flowers dried had 4 to 5 persistent sepals app 2 com long while the petals were also seen but small and curled inwards
the twigs were difficult to break and had long fibres like the tiliaceae, malvaceae, sterculiaceae group.
