If the pinnate leaves belong to another plant then this would be J laurifolium which has opposite simple leaves.

Thanks … for the ID – Jasminum laurifolium … the first picture in this post indeed shows opposite (simple) leaves. The pinnate leaves must be another jasmine plant growing along with the one we are discussing about.
