Dehaasia Blume (Lauraceae) is now a conserved name. : 3 posts by 3 authors. Attachments (3)
I wish to inform you that the generic name Dehaasia Blume (Lauraceae) is henceforth a conserved name against Hassia Blume, pending notification.  This has been accepted in the Nomenclature Section of  the XIX International Botanical Congress held in Shenzhen, China during 17 – 21 July 2017.
We have three species of Dehaasia in India, viz. D. candolleana, D. firma and D. incrassata.
I am attaching herewith a copy of the Proposal made by us and a paper showing the distribution of the above three species in India.

Thanks a lot … for sharing these useful manuscripts…!!

Species, genera & family pages of‎‎‎ ‎‎Lauraceae are now with images. I request you to pl. go through & point out mistakes, if any. I hope this will aid in identifications in future. If anybody can send images of other species of this family (for incorporation in the website), if any, or can identify unidentified images, it will be really nice.
